Our fourteenth issue is celebrating Pride and the LGBTQ+ community. In this issue, you can read about key points in LGBTQ+ history, a dictionary of gender & sexuality terms and our take on how to be a good ally to theLGBTQ+ community.
Issue 13 This week we will be focusing on S.M.A.R.T goals, providing helpful suggestions to keep in mind when setting yourself targets. We will also be looking at ‘Productivity,’ providing useful suggestions to help you increase your productivity and focus.
Issue 12 This week we will be looking at our experiences of nature during lockdown as well as a variety of beneficial ways we can connect with our surroundings. Focusing on Green Spaces, Earthing and a guide to Mindful Walking.
This week we will be looking at the different ways we are experiencing lockdown when living with a chronic illness as well as living with someone with active addiction. We
will also be focusing on the Black Lives Matter protests and the ways we can educate, get involved and stand with
Issue #10 In this weeks issue we will be focusing on the body and the beneficial ways we can support and nurture them. A wonderful introduction to Ayurveda and its principles, as well as an insight into the three dosha energies and how they are present in everyone and everything.
This week is National Volunteers Week! Our ninth issue is celebrating the wonderful volunteers who work selflessly and tirelessly across the county to keep the service running smoothly and support our service users with their own lived experience. You can read some of their amazing stories and why volunteering is so good for our physical and emotional wellbeing. Read about how you can get involved with what’s happening at the Recovery service.
